- Rill Chapel is a new facility built in 1993 - the old
facility was located in downtown Port Orchard
From within Port Orchard:
Rill Chapel is located between the main streets
of Lund (Tremont) and Mile Hill - on Mitchell Avenue which
runs one block parallel to Bethel.
From east Port Orchard
Travel to Bethel Avenue - go west on Bethel just past the
Bethel/Lund intersection (Safeway & Puerta Vallarta).
Mitchell branches to the right - Bethel goes straight. Take
Mitchell Avenue about 8/10ths of a mile and Rill Chapel
will be on your right.
From Southworth Ferry
- Make a left turn onto Sedgwick (Hwy 160) from the ferry
landing.
- Stay on Sedgwick until you reach the Sedgwick/Bethel
intersection (about 7 miles).
- Turn right on Bethel and go straight until you cross
the Bethel/Lund intersection (Safeway & Puerta Vallarta).
- Mitchell branches to the right - Bethel goes straight.
- Take Mitchell Avenue about 8/10ths of a mile and Rill
Chapel will be on your right.
From Mile Hill and the downtown Port Orchard area
Travel to A & W on Mile Hill - go past the ACE Hardware
parking lot - turn left on Mitchell about 1 block and Rill
Chapel will be on your left.
From outside Port Orchard
All those traveling on Hwy 16 from either direction west
(Bremerton, Silverdale, etc.) or east (Gig Harbor, Tacoma,
etc.) can follow the same directions:
- Take Hwy 16 to the Tremont/Old Clifton Road exit in
Port Orchard.
- Turn right onto Tremont and travel up the hill to the
5th stop light which is the Bethel/Lund (Tremont becomes
Lund) intersection. Puerta Vallarta restaurant will be
on your left.
- Turn left on Bethel about 1 block where Mitchell will
branch to the right - Bethel goes straight.
- Take Mitchell Avenue about 8/10ths of a mile and Rill
Chapel will be on your right.
