Gerald Emerson Bakerink

Gerald Bakerink passed away on Sunday morning, May 8, 2022 of health complications. He was a veteran. Gerald had also owned his own construction company, then later became a teacher for the Ackland School District in California. He was also active in starting low income programs. He loved reading and the arts. He was married to his loving wife, Soledad, for 38 years. He leaves behind his children Thomas and Marie Bakerink; his two daughters Sonia and Maria; his grandchildren Stephanie, Sofia, Tomas, Marco and Maddy. Gerry was a kind and gentle soul and was loved by his family. He will be missed but always remembered.
