July 15, 1957 - March 25, 2017
Sally was born in Bellingham, Washington and died at her home in Bremerton. She is survived by son Ethan Cantu. Brother’s Sam and Alvin Cook and Carl Wilt along with several nieces and nephews Milas and Peter Cook, Michelle Alfera and Amy Cogdill along with her adopted daughter Jessica Dale. Preceded in death by her mother and father Roy Cook and Louis Stewart and brother Milas Cook. Sally spent time growing up in the Everett area where she attended Mariner High school. Quickly after graduation she met and married her husband and best friend Charles Morrison in the early 1980’s who was a spectacular self taught saxophone player. Home for them was always the Pacific Northwest. Sally started her career in telecommunications where she quickly rose to Management where she spent most of her years working in Seattle for several major phone companies. Sally was the Queen Bee of the family and everyone knew that. Everyone could always expect Sally to be tough and honest, always offering her wise advice. She ran the show and what ever Sally said goes! No “if’s and’s or but’s” she would say with that twisted look in her eye. Sally was passionate about her love for the Lord, her family and beloved pets that served as her children until 2001 when she gave birth to her only child Ethan Cantu who she silently prayed for, for many years. The birth of her son changed the course of the rest of her life. Sally spent the last several years of her life living in Bremerton close to family. Her loved ones will remember Sally in a private memorial service held Saturday, April 29, 2017.
