Adeline Carol
Blair
February 9, 1944 – April 25, 2026
Adeline C. Blair was born on February 9, 1944 in South Dakota, to Alice and Oscar Vasfaret.
After moving to Salem, Oregon, she met and married Ronnie Blair and together they had a son David.
They moved with the Navy, living in various places, during which time she worked as a cook at a youth home. After her husband's retirement from the Navy, they settled in Port Orchard.
Shortly after the passing of her husband, she met Monte Foust. Monte and Adeline would spend the next 40 years together.
She had became an avid bowler and was a life long fan of the dice game of Bunco. She enjoyed her active part in the Lions Club organization. Then got hooked on the Bingo world and spent many hours dobbing at bingo cards. She enjoyed many of the weekend trips to visit with relatives in Oregon and then trips to the Coast to watch the waves breaking on the beaches. Her greatest thrill was a trip to Norway to visit with distant relatives and see where her grandparents had lived. Later, as puzzles and for the most part "Being in charge."
She is preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Sonja Patzer and a brother, Gordon Vasfaret. She is survived by her son, David Blair of New Mexico, and four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She is also survived by Monte Foust, sister Faye Roundtree and brother Oscar Vasfaret.
