Albert Bernard Larson

It is with a heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bernard Larson, a man full of love for his family and friends.

Bernie was born on April 11th, 1938, in Seattle, WA to Albert and Elizabeth Larson. He married Louise Ann Neumann on June 19th, 1959, and passed on October 22nd, 2025.

Through his incredible journey, he touched so many lives across the world. Friends from as far away as the Netherlands, Dubai, China, and England will miss the regular correspondence & shared memories they cherished over the years.

Known as “Papa” to most, he would love talking about travel and all the unique places/people there are to visit and learn from. Although he knew it was impossible to experience them all, he always encouraged us to try! His extraordinary life will forever be an inspiration-a reminder of the power of curiosity & the joy of discovering new places & experiences.

Papa’s legacy of making strangers into immediate friends, being quick to lend a hand, offering up a glass of wine, or making sure everyone knew they were always invited for dinner will be deeply missed.

He is survived by: His two brothers; Kenneth and his wife Linda, Steven and his wife Ivy. His three sons; Todd and his wife Daphne, Trent and his wife Ann, Troy and his wife Tavia. Eight Grandchildren; Nichole, Gunnar, Gabrielle, Griffan, Sarah, Samantha, Annie and Taylor. Great Grandchild Henrik.

Papa was proceeded in death by: His wife Louise Ann  and his two sisters Kathy and Kristine.

A celebration of life will be held October 30th, 4PM @ Whiskey Gulch in Port Orchard, WA.

In his memory, we ask that you plan your next adventure soon, make life-long friends along the way, and be amazed at all the wonderful, thrilling destinations out there!!
