Andrew Gomez was born on July 23, 1999, in Bremerton, Washington, to Amber and Art Gomez. Raised in Port Orchard, Andrew attended South Colby Elementary, John Sedgwick Junior High, and graduated from South Kitsap High School, where he met the love of his life, Angelika, in the cafeteria at just 15 years old. They began dating the very next day and built a life full of love, laughter, and devotion.
Andrew was a proud and loving father to his son, Xavier. Their bond was deep and filled with shared moments playing video games, reading the Bible together nightly, and building incredible Lego creations. Andrew found joy in the simple things: cooking, reading, hiking, and spending time with his family. He took great pride in caring for his home and was a devoted son, especially in the care he gave to his father, Art.
He worked as a stocker and cashier, a job he genuinely enjoyed. He often spoke fondly of his boss and coworkers, grateful for the camaraderie and support they provided.
Andrew had a sharp wit and a teasing, sarcastic sense of humor that lit up every room. His laugh was unforgettable, and his presence was magnetic. If you really knew Andrew, you knew he wasn't quiet, he had a million sayings. Unfortunately, none of them are appropriate to repeat. He was also very intelligent, you would definitely not want to go against him in Jeopardy.
He loved to sing and dance to his favorite bands including Deftones, Misfits, Ghost, and Smashing Pumpkins.
Andrew is survived by his parents, Amber and Arthur Gomez; his siblings, Matt, Alex, Delia, and Analisa; his beloved fiancé, Angelika; and his cherished son, Xavier. He also leaves behind his grandmother Annette, grandparents Greg and Janis, and many loving family members who will miss him deeply.
His legacy is one of love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to his family.
He will be missed beyond measure and remembered always.
