IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Arthur Ramirez
Gomez
August 12, 1970 – December 7, 2025
Art was born on August 12, 1970, to Mary and Louie Gomez in Glendora, California. He was the youngest of thirteen siblings—Eleanor, Judy, Joanne, Louie, Maxine, Cindy, Diane, Debbie, Elaine, Teresa, Dolores, and Jesse—and from the very beginning, family was at the center of his life. Art was a proud father to Delia and Analisa, Andrew, Matthew, and Alex and a proud grandfather to Serenity, Leo, Xavier, and Andrew. Art and Amber were married for almost 24 years. His love for his family was deep, constant, and unwavering, and it is a legacy that will live on through each of them.
Art loved to tell jokes, and wherever he went, he was the life of the party. Art had many talents and passions: he loved painting, hand-lettering signs, and working on cars. Cars, especially, were a huge part of his life. He was the founder of the Chosen Few Car Club, a club that is built on pride, creativity, and brotherhood. To him, friends were family. His smile could light up a room, and when he laughed, everyone felt it. His joy was contagious, and being in his presence made life feel lighter.
Art was a loving father who led by example. He taught his children the value of hard work, respect, and the importance of family. Many memories were made together—learning how to paint, hand-letter, going on sign jobs together and working on cars right alongside him. As a grandfather, Art found pure joy in watching his grandchildren laugh and have fun. Art loved having his children and grandchildren around him at all times; they were truly everything to him.
Art leaves behind a legacy of laughter, generosity, creativity, and unconditional love. His life reminds us that God’s greatest gifts are not things, but the love we share, the kindness we show, and the joy we bring into the lives of others. While we grieve his absence here on earth, we find comfort in knowing that Art now rests in God’s presence, free from pain and surrounded by peace. We carry the hope that we will see him again, and until that day, he will live on in our hearts—in the stories we tell, the lessons he taught, and the love he gave so freely. May we honor him by loving one another as he loved us.
