Bobbi Lee Rice

October 19, 1955 — June 19, 2025

Silverdale

Bobbi Lee Rice, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 19, 2025, at the age of 69. Born October 19, 1955, in Denver, Colorado, Bobbi was the cherished daughter of the late Charles Robert Hill and Betty Gray.

Bobbi’s life was centered around her deep love for family. She is survived by her five children, Charles Rice (Jamee), Wendy Rice, Jamie Immings (Robert), Michael Rice, and Jeremy Rice (Courtney); her eleven grandchildren, Chuck Jr., Wyatt (Jamie), Rissa, Thomas, Zachary, Brian, Evelyn, Landen, Owen, Logan, and Aliyah; and her treasured great-grandchild, Elijah. She is also lovingly remembered by her three sisters, Linda Sue Therrien, Michelle Morgans (Tom), and Cheryl Lince (John). Bobbi was a devoted and doting aunt to her nieces and nephews—Mark, Christopher, Amber, Annie, Katherine, and Suzi—whom she loved dearly and supported wholeheartedly throughout their lives.

A proud graduate of South Kitsap High School, Class of 1973, Bobbi spent her career as a restaurant manager until her retirement in 1993. But her true calling was in her role as a mother and grandmother—roles she embraced with fierce devotion and unconditional love.

Bobbi created a lifetime of memories for her family, especially during her favorite celebrations. From Fourth of July gatherings at Del Mar Beach to cheering from the dugout while umpiring Little League games, and spontaneous day trips to Disneyland and Knott’s Berry Farm, Bobbi made sure life was filled with joy and togetherness. No matter the distance, she made sure her family stayed connected and close.

Her passions included music, movies, and the simple joy of a long drive with the windows down and Fleetwood Mac playing. She never passed up a chance to watch My Fair Lady or West Side Story, and her vibrant spirit lives on in every melody and memory.

Hearts are broken by her passing, but the legacy she leaves is one of love, laughter, and unwavering family bonds.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at Rill Chapel in Port Orchard, WA; with a reception to follow at The Boat Shed in Bremerton, WA. All who knew and loved Bobbi are welcome to attend and share in honoring her remarkable life.
