Charles Stone

Charles G. Stone died February 20, 1999 in Bremerton, WA.  He was 92 years old.  He was born May 2, 1906 in Willard, Ohio to Roy & Jenny Stone.  He was raised in Akron, Ohio where he graduated from high school in 1924.  He owned and operated a bar and restaurant in Lancaster, California and retired in 1991.  Mr. Stone was also employed as a long haul truck driver, delivery driver for a bakery, service station attendant, and he also owned and operated a Western Auto Store and  liquor store, all in California.  He was a charter member of the Palmdale Elks #2027 and a past Secretary and Honorary Life Member in California. Mr. Stone is survived by his son Charles Stone of Bremerton, WA., daughter Jenine Ridge of Auburn, Ill., 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.  There will be no services at this time.
