Her granddaughter had the idea of wearing blue because that was her favorite color. You can do that if you want or wear what you want, as long as it’s respectful, please.
Christine was born in Redding, California to Gerald and Patricia Davis. She was the middle of 5 siblings. (Gary Davis, Mark Davis, Christine Davis, Allen Davis and Gayle Davis). The family moved to Port Orchard, Washington in June 1968. She graduated from South Kitsap High School in 1972. She took cosmetology (beautician) school and graduated in 1973. She got married to Phil Leighton May 31st, 1975. They had 3 children: Paul J. Leighton (12-5-71), Tabitha R. Leighton (10-08-1980) and Sherah M. Leighton (08-15-1984). She worked a for a short time at a pottery shop. Some of the things she loved and did were pottery, sewing, cake class, karaoke, camping, motorcycle riding. Occasionally, she and Phil did a 750 mile motorcycle trip up into Canada, back down into Wenatchee, and back on to Port Orchard. This was with their Christian Life Center motorcycle club, Kings Riders, on our honda. She didn't enjoy riding our Harley hardtail chopper as much. She dearly loved her white maltese dog Suzy. She was mostly a stay at home mother until their kids grew up and then went back to work as a cosmetologist. Chris had a very contagious laugh. Chris is survived by her mother, Patricia Davis, sister Gayle Davis, husband, Phil Leighton, her three children and 6 grandchildren.
