Our Dearest Craig, it can't be so

The time has come to let you go.

That impish grin and heart of gold

Your family's love you'll always hold.

 Your parents and your children

 Soulmates, brother and sister too.

Will never let a day go by

 Without sweet thoughts of you.

All earthly struggles have gone away

 No fears, no tears remain.

Please hold our place in heaven

 Until we meet again.

There is no pain like losing a son,

 Soulmate, brother or dad.

Oh God, please ease our aching hearts

So we won't live so sad.

We know you are in heaven now

 With family gone before.

We're asking God to let them hold

 Your hand at heaven's door.

It won't be long I pray and pray

We'll join together, one fine day.

 Love, Mom.
