Edena Peavy

Edena Peavy, age 90, of Port Orchard, died on August 18, 2026 in Bremerton, Washington.

She was born in Bremerton, graduated from Bremerton High School, and married Pate M. Peavy in June of 1952. She retired in 1984 as a probate assistant with the Shiers Law Firm in Port Orchard.

She enjoyed reading, gardening, crossword puzzles, needlework, playing dominoes, Scrabble and cards, RV outings, monthly luncheons with high school classmates, and visiting with friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Howard and Eva Leona Pemble; her husband Pate; and an infant daughter, Dorie Danette Peavy.

A family graveside memorial will be at Sunset Lane Cemetery on August 24, 2026.
