Evelyn Hansen

Evelyn D. Hansen age 72 of Port Orchard, WA died May 23, 2001 in Port Orchard. She was born in Spooner, Wisconsin October 13, 1928 to Joseph & Theresa (Melchart) Jellen.Evelyn attended High School in Spooner and graduated in 1946. She was married to William and he preceded her in death April 1993. Evelyn worked at Washington State Veterans Home in Retsil, Washington for 30 years and was a member of the Gig Harbor Elks.Surviving is her son William J. Hansen of Port Orchard, WA; daughters Yvonne K. Golnik of Olalla, WA and Veronica J. Saunders of Bow, WA; brother Frank Jellen of Spooner; sister Elenore Eichstaedt of Sonoma, CA; 19 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.A Rosary will be Tuesday May 29 7:00PM at Our Lady Star of The Sea Catholic Church in Bremerton & a Funeral Mass Wednesday May 30 11:00 AM interment will be at Fraola Cemetery in Port Orchard.
