Helen Ethel Ritter

Helen Ethel Ritter, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on May 31, 2025, at the age of 94, in Tacoma, Washington. She was born on January 29, 1931, in Landsford, North Dakota.

As a devoted homemaker, Helen's life revolved around her family, which she considered her proudest accomplishment.

She enjoyed line dancing, crocheting, and square dancing with her husband, Luallen Ritter, who preceded her in death. Helen cherished the bonds she shared with her siblings—four brothers and three sisters—who were a vital part of her life and provided a source of comfort and support.

Helen is survived by her daughter Wanda, her son Allan, and her cherished grandchildren: Tanya, Jeff, Scott and Crista and her cherished great-grandsons: Raymond, Cooper and Trey.

In her final days, Helen was under the compassionate care of Hospice House, where she was surrounded by love and warmth as she transitioned. Her legacy of kindness and familial love will continue to resonate within the hearts of those she leaves behind. Helen Ethel Ritter will be dearly missed and forever remembered for her sweet spirit and her passion for family.
