Jennifer “Jenn” Anne Chattin, age 48, passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at her home in Port Orchard, Washington.
Born on December 19, 1977, she was the daughter of Stephanie and Richard Williams, sister to Justin Greenhalgh, and step-sister to Tom and Ceila. She attended Lincoln Elementary for Kindergarten through fifth grade. For sixth through eighth grade, she attended Riverton Middle School. In Jenn’s childhood years, she spent many summers boating, riding odyssey ATVs, and camping at Bass Lake with family. She enjoyed many camping trips above Lander and Dubois Wyoming. Every summer, she would travel to Utah to visit her grandparents, Bob and Beth Vincent and Ralph and Jetta Walker. While in Utah she had created fond memories like loading up on vegetables for canning, and a trip to Lagoon Amusement Park. One of her favorite things to do as a kid was spend time with her two grandma’s, Sylvia Vincent and Mary Greenhalgh. In winter, Jenn enjoyed sledding and snow mobiling. She also liked roller skating and playing basketball.
Around the age of 14, Jenn moved to Washington to live with Aunt Sally “Nana” and Uncle Joe “Papa”, where she attended North Kitsap High School for her freshman through junior year. She decided to go back to Wyoming for her senior year and graduated from Riverton High School. After graduating, Jenn moved back to Washington. A few years later, on June 9, 2001 she married her loving high school sweetheart, Chris Chattin. Their only child, Raea Chattin, was born in December 2003. They bought a house and lived in Port Orchard Washington while raising Raea.
Jenn loved Washington for the outdoors, and one of her favorite activities through her 20’s and 30’s was going camping with her family and friends at Dosewallips and Camano Island State Parks. Among Jenn’s favorite activities were playing dice, card games, board games, and getting her nails done. She was the life of the party and her good energy radiated through everyone. She enjoyed shopping and was always searching for unique little stores and loved going to farmers markets; where she would search for trinkets and keepsakes to give to loved ones. She enjoyed bowling in her younger days and continued visiting with friends at the bowling alley as she got older. Her favorite place was anywhere she was able to spend time with friends and family.
Her favorite color was green and loved anything tye-dyed. Jenn’s favorite flowers were stargazer lilies, sunflowers, and roses. She loved hummingbirds and sea turtles, and she had many turtle nicknacks. She was the biggest Seahawks fan! One of the last things she did before she passed was walk on the beach and collect shells, which was another one of her favorite things to do. Jenn will be missed by all who knew her.
