Jennifer Jo Kono

Jennifer Kono, 51, of Port Orchard died August 25th at Harrison Medical Center in Bremerton. Jennifer was born May 1, 1962 in Windom, Mn to Gerald & Lorraine (Ross) Halverson. On March 17, 1984 she married Alan Kono who died in 2005. Jennifer was a Pharmacy Tech for Group Health for 23years. She left Group Health after Al's death and continued the legacy as owner & operator of PJ's Market. Jennifer loved being a Mom and even more so a Grandma, spending time gardening and with grand daughters Makena & Kalena. She was also known to float around in her pool on sunny days. She is survived by her children Stephanie & Jared; her father Gerald; 3 brothers Scott, Bob & Bradley and 2 grandchildren Makena & Kalena. Services will be 11am Friday, August 30th at Rill's Life Tribute Center with interment following at Sunset Lane Memorial Park. A memorial webpage can be accessed at www.rill.com
