John Miller

John P. Miller, 69, of Port Orchard, WA, died December 18, 2001, at his home in Port Orchard.John was born August 3, 1932, in Lockport, NY, to Harold L. and Mary (Wykrent) Miller.John attended Pittsburg Aeronautical Institute in Pittsburg, PA, after graduating from high school.John served in the United States Navy for 8 years earning the Korean Service Medal.He worked for 30 years as an Aviation Mechanic and enjoyed sailing and working with model airplanes.John is survived by his son, Michael J. Miller, of Port Orchard; daughter, Jeanene Freitag, of Phoenix, AZ; brother, Harold Miller, of Chicago, IL; sister, Jo Ann Romaine, of Colorado; and 1 grandchild, Christopher Freitag, of Phoenix, AZ.A service will be held Saturday, December 22, 2001, 10:00AM, at Rill Chapel in Port Orchard. A flag honoring John's service for our country will drape his casket.
