Jung Soo Shin of Port Orchard, WA passed away peacefully on June 16, 2026, at the age of 79 to rest peacefully in God's loving embrace. Jung Soo transitioned from this world surrounded by the love and warmth of his cherished family at his residence.

Born on April 10, 1947, in South Korea, Jung Soo was a man who embodied the virtues of kindness, diligence, generosity, and love. He immigrated to the United States and first settled in Los Angeles, CA before falling in love with the beauty of the Puget Sound area. He moved to Port Orchard, WA in 1990 and lived there until his passing. Jung Soo found solace and joy in the simple pleasures of life. He was most content when tending to his garden, filled with fruit trees, vegetables, and flowers. He loved being with his family and was also an active member of his church.

In 1970, Jung Soo married his beloved wife, Jung Soon. Their union of over five decades blessed them with two wonderful children. Their son, Young Jin, along with his spouse Mi Kyung, and their daughter Kimberly, with her spouse David, were the pride and joy of Jung Soo's life. His legacy continues through his four adored grandchildren: Angela, Nicholas, Sophie, and Kara, who each carry a piece of his spirit forward. He is also survived by his 2 older sisters and an older brother residing in South Korea as well as his beloved niece Mi Kyung and her husband Scott and their beautiful children Sasha, Janie, and Ava.
