Mae Frances Uhrich, born on May 13, 1940, in St. Pauls, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on January 8, 2026, at her home in Port Orchard, Washington, surrounded by her loving family.

Frances shared 51 years of marriage with her devoted husband, Dan Paul Uhrich. Their life together was defined by love, care, and an enduring partnership.

Survived by:

Her husband, Dan Paul ;
Her children, Janice, Chuck and Katherine.
Seven grandchildren;
Six great-grandchildren;
One great-great-granddaughter;
Her sisters, Mary and Peggy.
Her niece, April.

Preceded in death by:
Her son, Dale Troy Uhrich;
Her brothers, Johnny and Connor.

Frances was a talented ceramic artist, and art remained an important and meaningful part of her life. She found great joy in gardening, nurturing plants and creating beauty in her surroundings. Frances especially enjoyed taking trips in her motorhome, making memories with her grandchildren along the way. She had a deep love for her many dogs, cats, and parrots, who brought her constant companionship and joy. Above all, she loved spending quality time with her family.

In accordance with her wishes, a service will be held privately in her home town in North Carolina.
