Margaret Lucille Lewandowski

Margaret (Lucille) Lewandowski, a longtime resident of Port Orchard, died peacefully in her sleep on Monday, September 2, 2013 at the age of 90 with her devoted husband at her side. Born February 24, 1923 in Bismarck, North Dakota, she was the only child of Paul and Monica Robidou.
It was love at first sight when she met Stanley, her husband of 66 years. They made many friends throughout the United States and the Philippines during Stanley's service in the United States Air Force. Together they raised their only son, Stanley Paul Lewandowski who she held closely to her heart.
Lucille was a talented painter, avid gardener and loved sewing and crafts.
She is survived by her husband Stanley, son Stanley Paul and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral Mass will be 2pm Thursday, September 12th at St. Gabriel Catholic Church. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to Franciscan Hospice of Pierce County. Online memorial at www.rill.com
