Marjorie Mary Fewel passed away on September 17, 2025.

Marjorie was born October 28, 1930 in a lumber camp on the Washington Idaho border to Aime Lauzon and Margaret Jerome-Lauzon. She lived and attended school in Blanchard Valley with eight grades in the same classroom. She also attended school in Elk, Four Lakes, Newport and South Kitsap where she graduated with the class of 1948.

She married Richard Lee Fewel on May 19, 1948. Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband Richard, Daughter Susan Bakker (Shawn), and son Roy. She is survived by her four grandchildren, Sharon Hillebrand (Chris), Richard Mogel (Nikki), Raymond Lampley, Brianna Hunter (Jon), ten great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Marjorie worked at a dry cleaners on the Bremerton Navy Base for two years. She loved to bowl and was the secretary of the local women’s bowling league for 11 years. She loved to backpack with her family and did many hikes through the Olympic Mountains. Other interests included gardening, crocheting, sewing, ceramics and cooking holiday dinners for her family.
