Pamela Jean Morrison

September 4, 1937 — September 14, 2025

Port Orchard

Pamela Jean Morrison was born to Frank and Winifred Boyer on September 4, 1937 in the town of Bromley in

Kent, a suburb of London. She and her family experienced the turbulent years of World War II.

Growing up Pam was active in the Girl Guides. She loved ballroom dancing and won several awards. She had

a drive which would have scared most people.

I remember the time when we first met, she rode her Lambretta scooter from the south of England to

Stranraer in Scotland, took the ferry to Ireland, and rode down to my father’s home in Belfast to introduce

herself. He took an instant liking to Pam and he never forgot her pluck. Later, Pam bought a BSA 250 motor

bike and we would ferry to France and tour Europe. We had such fun together.

Pam worked in Fleet Street, London in the newspaper business before we left for the United States. Leaving

her mother was particularly hard for her, but we saw a good opportunity for our family in the states

and started off building our future in Northern California.

Pam went into banking and this became her true love, the discipline & organization was what drove her

whether we were in California or Texas, and this extended after her retirement into her interest in the Home

Owners Associations in Pollock Pines, CA and in Port Orchard, WA.

Here in McCormick Woods she loved the volunteer work and has in some little way contributed to the running

of the association over these eighteen years. Pam has also made so many binding friendships which has made this corner of the world like home.

She loved gardening and she took joy in directing my labor to make a haven for our family and our beloved Yorkies.

Pam and I were blessed with two girls and two boys; JoAnne, Nicola, David, and Jonathan. As a family, we

shared many fascinating experiences in our travels. Our 67 years of marriage have given so many memories that I will cherish forever.

We will all miss her dearly as she was such an influence in our lives. May she now rest in peace.
