Robert Alan Boman III passed away on June 9, 2025, in Tacoma, Washington, due to complications from diabetes following a severe illness. He was 22 years old.
Robert was born on June 14, 2002, in Silverdale, Washington, and graduated from Peninsula High School in Gig Harbor in 2020. He was an avid cross country runner, known for his quiet strength, steady perseverance, and deep love for the sport.
Robert was especially well known for his unwavering support and inclusion of his disabled brother, Connor. His deep compassion and kindness touched the lives of many.
He is deeply loved and mourned by his parents, Anne and Matt Bunker; siblings Amelia and Connor Boman, and Thomas, Nora, Matthew, Cora, Natalie, Emily, and Jacob Bunker. He is also survived by his father, Robert Boman Jr.; great-grandfather James R. Boman; grandparents Steven Craig and Lisa Knight, Anna and Robert Boman Sr.; and many extended family members and friends.
Robert’s life, though far too short, left a lasting legacy of love, loyalty, and gentleness. His memory will be cherished by all who knew him.
