Sarah Young

Sarah Jean Smith Young, 74, died at home in Port Orchard on April 18, 2012.  She was born April 24, 1937 in Walla Walla, WA to Irwin & Melva (Schauer) Smith.  She graduated from Shelton High School in Shelton WA and married Harry Young who preceded her in death. Sarah worked as a Green Tier for Callison Evergreens and Hower & Everett Evergreens.  She was also a Bartender for the VFW.  She enjoyed camping, hunting and clam digging. Surviving are sisters Mary Everett of Port Orchard and Shirly (Tim) Graham of Rossville, GA.  She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters Dorthy Mueller and Elvira Rollan.
