Stanley Taft Zukowski, 90 of Port Orchard, WA died in University Place, WA on January 23, 2014. He was born February 10, 1923 in Portland, OR to Walter & Blanche (Florek) Zukowski. He married Leona Cavanaugh March 16, 1946 in Shelton, WA.
Stan retired as an Electrician from PSNS. He also served in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed golf and fixing things. If he didn’t have a part, he could make one. He was a member of Knights of Columbus and St. Vincent DePaul.
Surviving are his wife Leona; sons Kenneth (Holly) Zukowski of Lake Stevens, WA and David (Wendy) Zukowski of Port Orchard; daughters Diane (Mike) Sumter of Spokane, Karen (Steven) Kosel of Port Orchard & Joy (David) Brookbank of Olalla; brother Jerry (Annie) Zukowski of Tacoma; 14 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Mass 11:00am, January 28, 2014 at St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Port Orchard. Burial at Sunset Lane Memorial Park will follow. Online memorial at www.rill.com
