Theodore John Hauschel

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ted Hauschel.

Ted was born on February 25th, 1944 to Ernest and Frieda Hauschel in Bremerton, WA. He passed on April 5th, 2025 at St. Michael's Medical Center in Silverdale, WA.

Ted graduated from West High School with the class of 1963. In 1971 he married Jan, his wife of 53 years. Together they had 2 beautiful children, Brian and Tana.

Ted loved being outdoors and Fishing, crabbing, gathering oysters and boating. Ted also loved sports. He played pee wee football, City League and high school basketball and bowling. He was inducted into the Men's Kitsap Bowling Association Hall of Fame. Ted also played slow pitch for Ace Paving for many years.

Family and friends were very important to him. He was always willing to help and do anything for them. Ted is survived by his wife, his son Brian Hauschel (Angie), daughter Tana Siler and his 4 much loved grandchildren. McKenna Smith (Nathan), Colton Siler, Payton Siler, and Brielle Hauschel, along with his nieces and nephew.

Celebration of Life will be held on May 17th at Gold Mountain Golf Course located at 7263 W. Belfair Valley Rd, Bremerton, WA 98312. Please drop in between 1-4pm.
