In Loving Memory of Tomas Camacho Atoigue

A hardworking, traditional, and determined man who believed in doing things well –

And do them with your whole heart.

Throughout his life, he worked as dental technician, served as a submariner, and retired as a beloved

mailman. In every role, he brought meticulous attention to detail, commitment, and pride in a job well

done. But his life was always about far more than his work.

He was about celebration. He was obstacle courses and good food enjoyed in the warmth of the sun.

He was music playing in the background, a game of card and a beverage “On a Sunday Afternoon”.

He is the art & simple joy of being together. He knew how to work hard, but he also knew how to have

a good time. And he wanted the people he loved to enjoy it with him.

Above all, Tomas Camacho Atoigue fiercely loved his family.

A devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He was adored for his cooking, his

commitment to excellence, his traditions, and his unmistakable joy in bringing people together. He

took pride in his family and in the life, they built together; always encouraging those he loved to strive

for something meaningful while never forgetting where they began.

Dad passed peacefully at the ranch, surrounded by family, just as he wished. A fitting farewell for a

man whose greatest treasure was the people he loved most. Though he is no longer with us in

person, Tpa will remain deeply present in the lives of his family. He will live on through the stories we

tell, the meals we share, the traditions we carry forward, the goals we continue to achieve, and the

fierce love with which we protect and care for one another.

His legacy is not simply what he accomplished, but what he gave us: a family grounded in love,

loyalty, tradition, determination, and the belief that life should be lived fully and shared generously.

Tom is survived by his longtime love, Doris; his four children, Franc (Drew), Mas (Niki), Jayk (KJ), and

Dan (Mirai); and his greatest joy, his nine grandchildren:

Grant Boy, TayTay, AriTails, LittleChef, RoweDog, Colty, Saichi, Ayla Girl, & Jimmy.

He is also survived by his sisters, Maria, Eleanor, & Briget; his cherished sisters & brothers in-laws,

many beloved nieces & nephews; and countless friends – all of whose lives were made richer by

knowing him. He will be profoundly missed, deeply remembered, and forever loved.
