Veronica Catherine Tracy

Veronica Catherine Tracy, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully at her home in Port Orchard, Washington, on November 25, 2025. She was born on December 21, 1942, in Perham, Minnesota, to Vincent and Mary Doll.

Veronica dedicated forty years of her life to working as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), a profession that takes a special kind of person. Caring for others through life's most vulnerable moments requires patience, compassion, and a generous heart, and Veronica devoted decades to this meaningful work.

In 1980, Veronica married Robert Tracy, and together they celebrated 45 years of marriage. Robert was not only her husband but also her travel buddy, sharing in new adventures and their mutual interest in antique machinery restoration. Through the years, they built a life filled with companionship, shared experiences, and countless memories.

Veronica had a fiery personality and a spirit that made her unmistakably herself. She was never short on character and brought her own unique energy to the people and activities she enjoyed. She participated in a bowling league, enjoyed what she affectionately might have called her attempts at gardening, and had a special love for little dogs, particularly Shih Tzus.

Whether she was trying her hand at gardening, spending time with her beloved dogs, bowling with friends, or heading out on another adventure with Robert, Veronica found her own ways to enjoy life. Those who knew her will remember her spirited nature, her individuality, and the lasting impression she made on those around her.

Veronica is survived by her devoted husband, Robert Tracy; her four children, Terry, Karen, John, and Allison; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who will carry her memory forward for generations to come.

Though Veronica will be deeply missed, the memories she leaves behind will continue to bring comfort and warmth to those who loved her. Her years of caring for others, her adventures with Robert, her love of little dogs, and her unmistakable personality will remain cherished parts of her legacy. May she be remembered with love, laughter, and appreciation for the life she lived and the family she leaves behind.

A memorial service will be held for Veronica on Friday, October 23rd, at 10:00AM at Rill's Life Tribute Center of Port Orchard.

A graveside gathering will follow at Sunset Lane Cemetery shortly after 11:00AM.
