William “Bill” Delvo, 71, passed away peacefully at home on November 16, 2025.
Bill was born in Park River, North Dakota, and grew up in Bremerton, Washington. He graduated from East High before settling in Port Orchard in 1977, where he lived for the rest of his life.
Bill was married to Deborah for 49½ years. A quiet, dependable man, he worked hard year after year to provide for his family. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need, and those who knew him well appreciated his dry, understated sense of humor—one that would sneak up on you and leave you laughing when you least expected it.
He was a proud father to Joseph (Veronica), Justin (Carly) Delvo, Andrea (Phillip) Smith, and Tamera (Jeremy) Workman, and a beloved Opa to Baily and Mason Workman, and Cloud and Snow Smith.
Bill is also survived by his brother, John Delvo; his sisters, Judy Giddens, Marilyn Gapinski, Laura Richards, and Karen Fridrikssen; as well as numerous nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.
He loved camping and fishing with his children and golfing with his sons. He treasured family dinners when all his children and their families gathered together. Bill will be remembered for his unwavering reliability and the deep love he expressed through actions more than words.
Services will be announced at a later date.
